Aladdin’s Castle: Spring Mall

You are here:

Spring Mall at 4200 South 76th Street in Greenfield, Wisconsin opened in 1985 and soon featured an Aladdin’s Castle arcade near its northwest corridor. Community newsletters from 1987 advertise “Free Play Fridays” and highlight new titles like Track & Field and Paperboy.

Forum threads on Wisconsin nostalgia sites describe birthday parties under the AC’s neon signage, with kids trading tokens at the nearby Sbarro concession stand.

The arcade was phased out by 2002 as the mall reconfigured smaller shop spaces; its former location now hosts a fashion boutique, though Greenfield locals still recount the arcade’s distinctive whir of redemption machines.
